Heather and Michael Leach along with their children Aidan and Ainsley own and operate Seven Pines Stables.

 

In 1996 Heather's family bought the farm in Oakwood and then in 1997 Seven Pines Stables began its operations in Oakwood. Heather began running summer camp and lessons at the farm in Oakwood, while she was completing her Bachelor of Commerce degree from the University of Guelph.

 

After graduation she and Mike were married and built the indoor riding arena in 2000 and by 2004 they purchased the farm from Heather's parents and the business was in full swing. By this time Heather was offering Lessons, Boarding, Training and Sales and had made Seven Pines Stables her full focus. 

 

Over the years several additions have been made to the facility, including the attached stable, dressage ring, grass jumper ring, hay shed and several paddocks. Anyone that has met Heather, been taught by her, or competed with her knows how passionate and committed she is to her business and the equestrian sports.
