Riding Lessons:

Seven Pines Stables offers a top notch riding school.

We run lessons Monday thru Thursday evenings.

Lessons run year round as we have an indoor arena for the colder/inclement weather and multiple riding rings outside.  Coaching is done by qualified instructors.  Our school horses are some of the best equine educators!

Private lessons are also available with Instructor Heather Leach for those who own their own horses or wish to ship in.

Requirements:

  • We start new riders at the age of 7 +

  •  Riders need footwear with a heel that cover the ankle

  • We teach both children and adults

  • Riders need a properly fitted ASTM approved riding helmet

  • Riders need long comfortable pants

  • Riding gloves are optional

Assessment Lessons:

All new students take Assessment lessons before moving into regularly set weekly lesson.  If the rider has riding experience they usually only require 1 or 2 assessment lessons. If the rider is brand new to riding, we require the student to take 4 assessment lessons to get them up and going on their own.    The assessment lessons are a 30 minute private lesson with time before and after to tack and un-tack your horse.

Assessment Lessons are  $55.00 each hst included

Group Lessons:

We are pleased to offer small group lessons to our riding school students.  The group lessons are 3 to 4 riders at the same level and similar age where possible.  These lessons run weekly and are billed on a monthly basis.    Riding School spots are based on availability.

Group Riding Lessons $50.00 each hst included.   Payable the first lesson of each month for that month.

Private Lessons:

The private lessons are available to those who own their own horse (boarded here or ship in)  or part board an SPS horse.  Private lessons are available in 30 or 50 minute lesson times.  At this time private lessons are not available on school horses unless by a rider that is part boarding.

Part Boarding:

We offer limited opportunities to our regular students to Part Board some of our fantastic school horses.  We have a handful that are available to our riders to learn what it is like to have a horse of their own.  It is a great way to try out horse ownership.   This is based on availability of horses and dependent on riders level and capability.

Show Team:

Seven Pines Stables offers the opportunity to their riders who either own their own horse or part board a SPS horse, to join the Show Team.  Each season we choose shows to attend as a team off property.  Currently we are planning to show at the Trilogy Combined Test Shows in 2024.  This is a great way to get out showing with a team of supporters to help along the way.
